  Apartment
  in Armacao de Pera
  on the beautiful Algarve
John Carter, the travel journalist with the Mail on Sunday wrote
about Armacao de Pera. "When I first visited in 1962 I remember the
local Hotel stood in isolation a few hundred yards from the church and a cluster of cottages that made up the tiny village. It has changed beyond recognition but the village still stands on prime location and once you get to the seafront there are shops, smart restaurants, bars and all the trimmings of a lively resort town. I would gladly return."

Our luxury two bedroom seafront apartment is situated between the Hotel and the church John Carter refers to. In fact the church was built and paid for by the late owner of our apartment block. There are just 24 apartments. Our air conditioned two bedroom apartment is situated on first floor, along with 2 other apartments. There is an elevator. The lounge/diner and two bedrooms have patio doors leading on to a long balcony with two sun loungers and table and chairs for el fresco dining. There is aTV in  the lounge with English programmes and also a small library in the hall with English books
The kitchen has a washing machine,fridge/freezer, 4 ring stove with electric oven. Coffee machine, food mixer, toaster, microwave and lots of pots and pans. A home from home!
